Die Schlacht um Mittelerde™ II is a real time strategy game developed by Electronic Arts based on the iconic fantasy world of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. In this game, players can take control of legendary characters such as Gandalf, Legolas and Aragorn, and lead their armies to victory against the dark forces of Sauron.

The game features numerous factions such as the Men of the West, the Elves, the Dwarves and the Orcs. Each faction has their own unique strengths, weaknesses and play styles which adds a great deal of diversity to the gameplay. Epic battles take place across various iconic locations from the books and movies such as Helm's Deep, Minas Tirith and Isengard.

One notable feature of Die Schlacht um Mittelerde™ II is the ability to control powerful hero units who possess incredible abilities and can turn the tide of a battle when used effectively. The game also features a robust single player campaign that allows players to experience key battles from both the books and movies in interactive form.

The Die Schlacht um Mittelerde™ II Demo is a free trial version of the game that allows players to experience a small portion of the gameplay before purchasing the full version. The demo includes a tutorial mission and a single skirmish battle where players can play as either the Men of the West or the Orcs.
